WATERBURY, Conn. - The Post University women's lacrosse team will look to bounce back from a season-opening 16-13 loss to Bridgeport on Friday afternoon, when it hosts St. Joseph (Conn.) in a non-conference tilt at LaMoy Field. Opening draw is slated for 4 p.m.
In last week's loss to Bridgeport, Post was led by freshman
Miranda Polaski, who netted four goals and an assist in her collegiate debut. Polaski's lone assist came on the game-tying
Meghan Diggett goal with 12:49 to play in the second half.
The Blue Jays will begin their 15-game schedule at Post.

Post University will play a record eight home games during its third season of varsity competition. The field was completed in October, and the first competition to be hosted by Post was a men's soccer game against Concordia on Oct. 13, a 5-3 victory for the Eagles.
