WATERBURY, Conn (April 16, 2011) Post University's women's lacrosse team fell to the Wilmington Wildcats Saturday afternoon in New Castle, Delaware. Four Eagles contributed to the scoring in the game.

Meghan Diggett, Stephanie Marran, Mallorie Michalak, and Katy Price all tallied unassisted goals. Marran was the first to score just under two minutes into the first half on a free position attempt. Moments later Diggett tallied her 13th goal of the season.

In the second half, Katy Price opened up the scoring just 1:46 in. Michalak scored the final goal for the Eagles at 15:43 as Wilmington took a 19-4 victory.

Defensively Post University caused 11 turnovers with three each coming from Marran and Michalak.

The Eagles will return to competition Sunday at Pomperaug High School in Southbury against Chestnut Hill. Game time is set for 1pm.
