WATERBURY, Conn. (March 24, 2011)---The Post University women's lacrosse team lost to Georgian Court University, 20-0 Thursday afternoon in New Jersey.

The Eagles (1-4, 0-3 CACC) fought hard and held the Lions (3-4, 3-0 CACC) to just eight shots in the second half, compared to five for Post University.

They also tied the Lions with 19 ground balls.

The team returns to action on Saturday when they take on Wilmington University at the Eagles' home at Pomperaug High School in Southbury.
