WATERBURY, Conn. (March 19, 2011)---The Post University women's lacrosse team started out fast once again, but fell to Holy Family University, 17-6, in Philadelphia on Saturday.

Mallorie Michalak and Stephanie Marran opened the game with a pair of goals in the first 4 minutes, giving the Eagles a 2-0 lead.

Marran finished with two goals on the game.

Post University would take a 3-1 advantage just five minutes later, as freshman sensation Meghan Diggett lit the lamp with 21:01 to go in the first half.

Diggett would add another goal in the second half, giving her six on the season.

Freshman Shelby Cocks added a goal later in the second, which was also her sixth of the season.

Cocks has also had a teriffic season for the Eagles, who appear to be much-improved in their second season of competition.

The team returns to action on March 24, when they travel to Georgian Court University to take on the Lions.
