Daktronics All-Region Team

BRIDGEPORT, Conn (November 16, 2011) Post University's freshman soccer player Elin Nyman has been named to the Daktronics Second All-East Region Team as a Forward. Nyman is one of four student-athletes from the CACC to be named to the 2011 East Region Team.

Nyman ended her season ranked second in NCAA Division II competition in goals per game with 1.077 and sixth in points per game after averaging 2.31. Nyman's 14 goals landed her 25th on the NCAA list and second among freshman nationally.

Nyman is one of only two freshmen named to the Second All-East Region Team for 2011. She was also named CACC Rookie of the Year and to the First All-CACC team for women's soccer.
