Wilmington Blanks Eagles Lacrosse 19-0

SOUTHBURY, Conn (April 17, 2010) Post University's women's lacrosse was defeated by the Wilmington Wildcats on Saturday afternoon 19-0. The Eagles are now 0-13 in their inaugural season of competition.

Wilmington's Rebecca Guethler scored five goals, Danielle Niccoli added four, while Eliza Burke scored three. The Wildcats wasted no time taking command of the game by scoring six even strength goals within the first eight minutes. 

Michelle Chadwick made eight saves for the Eagles in the loss. 

Post University will be back in action again on Sunday at home against Dominican.
