Chestnut Hill Tops Women's Lacrosse 17-7

SOUTHBURY, Conn (April 10, 2010) Post University's Women's Lacrosse team lost a conference game to Chestnut Hill 17-7 Saturday. Tiffany Neuendorf scored 5 goals in the Eagle loss.

The Griffins began the game with Maryanne and Carley Glass scoring five of the first six goals. Down 6-0, Neuendorf scored her first unassisted goal with 12:37 to play in the first half. Neuendorf scored again with three seconds to play in the half making it 9-2 Chestnut Hill at the break.

In the second half, the Eagles would strike first when Kathryn Price scored with an assist from Sam Hough. Each of the Glass sisters chipped in with a goal to extend the Griffin lead to 11-3 once again. 

Neuendorf scored without assist again with 18:46, 7:19, and 1:30 to play in the game. Price added a second goal as well, but it was not enough as the Eagles lost 17-7.

Post University's Women's Lacrosse team will play on Sunday hosting Georgian Court.
