Samantha Silver Scores First Goal for Post University Lacrosse in 18-6 Loss to AIC

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (March 3, 2010) Post University's
Samantha Silver will go down in the program's history books as the first athlete to score a goal in Women's Lacrosse. The Eagles fell in their first game to American International 18-6.
AIC opened the game with a 6-0 lead. Silver's goal would come with 20:41 to play in the opening half. AIC would go on another run scoring the next 5 goals making it 11-1.
Kenyese Benn scored two goals for Post University, while
Tiffany Neuendorf,
Kathryn Price, and
Kaitlin Montgomery all added one.
AIC was better with ground balls (24-11) over the Eagles, however they gave up two penalties to Post University's one.
Post University will be back in action again at home on March 14th against Philadelphia.
