Women's Lacrosse Falls to Holy Family 22-4

SOUTHBURY, Conn (March 20, 2010) Post University's Women's Lacrosse team fell to Holy Family on Saturday afternoon 22-4. The Eagles are now 0-4 on the season, while the Tigers improve to 1-2.
Post University's Kathryn Price scored 3 goals for the Eagles, while Susan Curran added two helpers. Holy Family's Stephanie McNesby and Gina Mansi tallied four goals each.
In the first half, the Tigers opened up a 6-0 lead before Kathryn Price scored two goals for Post University. The first came with 21:31 to play in the half as a short handed goal from Diana Castellano. The second came just three minutes later when Susan Curran fed Price for the goal making it 6-2.
Kaitlyn Montgomery would score with 14:23 as Curran was credited with another helper, but the Tigers would go into the break with a 16-3 lead.
In the second half, Price would score the last goal for the Eagles with 14:48 to play in the game. It would go down as an unassisted goal making the score 20-4 Tigers. Holy Family would hold on for a 22-4 victory.
The Eagles will be in action again on Thursday on the road against Georgian Court.
