Post University Athletics

Rashamell Vereen is a local to nearby Meriden, Conn. and was a red shirt freshman at Franklin Pierce last season. Vereen has four years of eligibility remaining.

He played both football and basketball at Maloney High School in Meriden, CT.  As a basketball player, he led his team to the Class L state championship as a senior and was named MVP of championship game after scoring 22 points. Vereen was named first team all-state as senior averaging 14.5ppg and 5.0apg.

“I am excited to watch Rashamell compete for minutes at both guard spots this year." said Mike Donnelly, Post University Head Coach. "He is natural leader with the ball and finishes well enough on the wing to play both on and off the ball. Rashamell sees the floor well and is at his best competing in the open floor. He has great quickness and  exciting player to watch”.
