JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- Freshman Luis Reina continues to make his push up the individual leaderboard for Post University Men's Golf after two rounds at the NCAA Regional on Friday, moving into a tie for 19th place at five-over-par, after finishing two-over-par. At the same time, the Eagles closed in 20th place at 49-over-par heading into tomorrow's final round in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Jumping up in the standings, Wheeling University took the lead in the event at 14-over-par, leading Gannon University by two strokes at 16-over-par, while Pitt-Johnstown and Charleston (WV) rounded out the top three in a tie at 21-over-par. At 49-over-par, the Eagles sit three strokes away from Southern New Hampshire University in 18th place at 46-over-par, while in the individual standings, Rasmus Seppanen leads the way still at one-under-par, just one stroke ahead of Wheeling's Zak Collins and West Liberty's Adam Gill, who are even with par.

As for the Post golfers, Reina's two-over-par finish placed him at five-over-par for the event in a tie for 19th, while both graduate student Joe Ensign and freshman Phillip Granum were the next Eagles up in a tie for 83rd place at 14-over-par, as they shot identical seven-over-par scores, following their first round, which yielded the same results. Just behind them was junior Braden Shea in a tie for 94th place at 16-over-par, while freshman Gavin Giroux sat five strokes behind him at 21-over-par. 

Shea finished round two with a seven-over-par, while Groux was 12-over-par to close the day. Junior Flo Schimek remained as the substitute, not participating in the round.
