WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the second time this season, junior defenseman Emma Hoen was named the New England Women's Hockey Alliance Defensive Player of the Week after her big home weekend, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Hoen had a big weekend for Post, scoring two goals, including the game-winner on Friday night against Saint Michael's College, as well as adding three assists for a total of five points as the Eagles went 2-0-0 against the Purple Knights.

Heading on the road for their final back-to-back road game weekend, Post University heads to Saint Anselm College for a Friday night tilt at 7:15 PM before facing off at 1:00 PM on Saturday. The Eagles were swept earlier in the season at home against the Hawks, 4-2 and 4-0.
