WATERBURY, Conn. -- Although unable to capture their third consecutive Easton/NFCA Team GPA Award, Post University Softball capped off another solid year academically as 10 players were named Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes as announced by the organizations on Thursday afternoon.
As a team, Post University finished with a 3.550 GPA, placing them within the top 75 teams with the highest GPA across all of Division II. Auburn University at Montgomery, which placed fifth last season in the Team GPA Award, took this year's title for Division II with a 3.882 GPA, which was just slightly ahead of American International College (AIC) of the Northeast-10 with a 3.811 GPA. Rounding out the top three teams was the University of Central Missouri with a 3.80 GPA.
