WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the second consecutive year and first under Head Coach
Michael Erickson, Post University Men's Golf received the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday afternoon.
In all, a GCAA record 292 schools across six divisions earned the accolade, with 129 of those receiving the President's Special Recognition Award for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Finishing with a 3.41 GPA this year, the Men's Golf team was one of 33 teams from Division II to be recognized with the Team Academic Award, while being one of three teams from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference in addition to Dominican (N.Y.) and then Felician, who was honored as one of 19 Division II programs with the President's Special Recognition.

Braden Shea and junior
Miles Maresch both led the team with 3.8 GPAs.
