Recruit Report: 14 Players Slated to Join Ted Haley's Nationally-Ranked Men's Soccer Team in the Fall

Recruit Report takes a look at all the incoming student-athletes for each program ahead of their 2025-26 athletic season and highlights all incoming student-athletes who filled out the recruitment form available to them during the summer of their first season at Post University.

WATERBURY, Conn. -- Coming off another run to the NCAA Tournament, which culminated in a trip to the Round of 16, Post University Men's Soccer finished the year ranked 16th in the nation and will now head into 2025 at 15th in the nation with 14 recruits being added to Head Coach Ted Haley's squad entering his 21st season at the helm of the program, which will look to win their sixth CACC Championship in their last seven tries this fall.

Aidan Tross
Playing a little bit of everywhere on the field, Aidan Tross joins Post from De Bilt, Utrecht, after attending Werkplaats Kindergemeenschap in Bilthoven, Utrecht, and playing club soccer for USV Hercules. Tross played at the highest level possible in the Netherlands for three years, while on his way to reaching that feat, he was named the captain for various teams he played for before making his debut with USV Hercules at 18 years old. Tross transfers in from Monroe University after playing in seven games last year for the Mustangs.

Henry Reyes
A three-sport athlete in high school, Henry Reyes attended nearby Seymour High School, where he was also on the football team and ran for both the indoor and outdoor track programs. Reyes also played club soccer for the Oakwood Soccer Club, primarily playing on the wings offensively. In his senior season, the Wildcats went 16-7-1 before falling to Stonington, 4-3, in the CIAC Class M State Tournament.

Edo Bukalo
Anchoring the midfield and backfield, Edo Bukalo comes from the Waterbury Career Academy while playing for FSA ECNL RL 2007. During his time in Waterbury, Bukao scored three goals and added three assists, while during his senior season, the team went 13-5-5 overall and 11-3-4 in the Naugatuck Valley League to finish fourth in the conference.

Koen Gemeri
From Australia, Koen Gemeri looks to add stability in the backfield for the Eagles after spending his time at The Southport School and playing club ball for Broadbeach United. In high school, Gemeri was the 2022 First XI Player of the Year, in which he had one goal and started every single game his team played, as well as every minute. For Broadbeach United, he played in the Football Queensland Premier League 2 on the U23 team, in which the team went undefeated in premiers, while he played in every game and scored three times in 2023. Returning in 2024, Gemeri was on the FQPL 1 squad, the third division in Australia, playing in every game the team had.

Pedro Vercosa
Another defender for Coach Haley's team, Pedro Vercosa, competed for YSC Academy out of Chester, Philadelphia, while also spending time on the Philadelphia Union club team.

Beau Pomeroy
Coming from Herkimer College, Beau Pomeroy comes in at defense for Post after a freshman season in which he appeared in seven games, made one start, scored once, and had two assists for the Generals. Pomeroy is from Epping, Essex, having attended Anglo European Secondary School before coming to the United States last year.

Tiago Feler
Looking to provide some scoring in 2025, Tiago Feler transfers in after three seasons at Division III North Carolina Wesleyan University. Feler is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Escuela Técnica Ort, while with the Battling Bishops, making his presence felt offensively. Across 37 career games, Feler started in 28 of them, scoring 12 goals with five assists for 29 points across 1,913 minutes played and accounting for four game-winning goals. Feler was a Second Team All-Conference player in 2023 before being named First Team All-Conference in 2024, along with Second Team All-Region, and earning two Player of the Week honors.

Xavier Duarte
Like Bukalo, Xavier Durate also attended Waterbury Career Academy up until last year, while also playing club soccer with the Hartford Athletic. Duarte was an All-Division First Team pick in 2024 before being named All-League First Team in 2025.

Currently, other recruits joining the team include: Cormac McGinliney, Agnaldo Germano, Loetrim Gashi, Mohamad Sanyang, Hermann Phanuel Zokou, and Robert Jones.
