WATERBURY, Conn. -- The 19th and 20th members in the history of Post University Men's Soccer to earn All-East Region honors, both junior goalkeeper
Leopold Dufaut and freshman defender
Agnaldo Germano were named to Tuesday's D2CCA All-East Region release, with Dufaut making First Team and Germano earning Second Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Dufaut was named the CACC Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team already and finished the season allowing just 11 goals all year with a 0.62 goals-against average and 85 saves, finishing with seven shutouts as well as a combined shutout and a 9-2-7 record across 18 matches with 1,601 minutes of action. The junior will now be eligible to be a D2CCA All-American once nominated because of his First Team status. He becomes the first goalie since Soren Jensen in 2023 to be named to a D2CCA All-East Region Team.
Germano was a two-time CACC Defensive Player of the Week and Weekly Honor Roll recipient, to go along with his one CACC Rookie of the Week honor. The freshman played in 18 matches, including all 90 minutes in 14 of those affairs, totaling 1,595 minutes at the end of the season. This marks the third consecutive season in which a defender has made the D2CCA All-East Region Team, as
Felix Nassen was named to it the last two seasons.
