WATERBURY, Conn. -- On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams were announced for Baseball across all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA. Post University Baseball netted four players out of the maximum number of players allowed to qualify which was five.

Joe Christiana earned the honor for a second straight season, while being joined by senior outfielder
Damaurys Rodriguez, sophomore shortstop
Jesse Alfalla, and graduate utilityman
Hayden Roberge as the four individuals who achieved the honor from the Eagles.Â
In order to qualify, student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 or better and the position players must have competed in at least 90% of team games played OR have started at least 66% of the total number of team games played while pitchers must pitch 25-plus innings or appear in 17 games as a pitcher.
This is the first time three of the four honorees made the CSC All-District Team during their time at Post University with Christiana being the lone repeat recipient.Â
