WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the final time this season, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference released its weekly awards, naming senior right-hander Harby Valera their Pitcher of the Week from Post University Baseball, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

In the final game of the regular season, Valera spun a gem in a no-decision effort for Post University Baseball. Valera went eight innings, working out of a first and second jam with two outs in his final inning of work, allowing only one run on five hits with five strikeouts and a walk. The Eagles would allow six runs in the ninth inning, falling to the University of Bridgeport, 7-3.

Post's season came to a close over the weekend as they fell 6-5 and 17-15 against Felician University in the CACC Tournament's First Round.
