Joe Ensign Named CACC Golfer of the Month for Second Consecutive Month, Wins April Award

WATERBURY, Conn. -- Closing out a stellar 1 1/2 year career as part of the Post University Men's Golf program, senior Joe Ensign was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Golfer of the Month for April, marking the second time this spring he has been named to the honor, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Ensign netted his second win of the year at the Charger Challenge, which took place at the end of March and bled into April, finishing even with par again after a four-under-par finish in day one of the event, while the Eagles finished fourth. Post would go on to tie for the win at the Saint Anselm Invitational on April 15th, an invite in which Ensign finished second overall at one-under-par in the team victory.

At the Penmen Season Finale, the senior was a six-over-par finisher, tying for 15th, while tying for 14th in the final event of the season for the Eagles in the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional, while Post finished 15th as a team. Ensign closes his senior season as a three-time CACC Player of the Week, a two-time CACC Golfer of the Month winner, a one-time CACC Honor Roll recipient, and a CACC All-Conference Team honor.
