WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the first time this season, Post University Men's Ice Hockey was honored on the Northeast-10 Conference's Faces in the Crowd as junior forward Joe Santoro's performance netted him recognition on the list of student-athletes as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. 

Santoro helped lead the Eagles to a win in their only game last week against Assumption University on the road with two goals and two points. The junior netted the game-tying goal in the third period, tying the game at one against the Greyhounds before scoring the game-winning goal in overtime for the 2-1 victory, giving the Eagles their third win of the season against Assumption. 

Post University closes its home schedule on Friday afternoon with Senior Day against Franklin Pierce University at the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton, Connecticut at 4:00 PM. The Eagles swept the Ravens in their two matchups earlier this season during their home-and-home series with a 4-3 win in Winchendon, Massachusetts before winning 3-1 at home a week later.
