#21 Men's Soccer Ranked Fourth in Super Region 1, Women's Volleyball In Consideration for East Region in Latest NCAA Regional Rankings

WATERBURY, Conn. -- As postseason play continues to get closer, Post University Men's Soccer and Women's Volleyball are in the hunt for a bid to the NCAA Tournament whether it be from winning their respective Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament or by at-large bid as the latest NCAA Regional Rankings pegged Men's Soccer at fourth in Super Region 1, while Women's Volleyball is In Consideration in the first regional release of the fall announced on Wednesday afternoon. 

For Men's Soccer, their regular season finished up yesterday with their first loss of the year to #11 Bentley University, 1-0, on the road, hours after being moved to 21st in the nation in the latest United Soccer Coaches National Poll on Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles sit at 7-1-7 heading into the CACC Tournament as the top seed for the fifth consecutive season, which will get underway on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM at LaMoy Field against the eight seed, which will be either Holy Family University or Georgian Court University.

As for Women's Volleyball, this was the first week in which regional rankings were released, meaning they are done in alphabetical order, and Post will have to wait until next Wednesday to see where they rank in the East Region. As of right now, the Eagles are riding an eight-game winning streak heading into Thursday night's conference matchup against the University of Bridgeport that can seal up the CACC North Division crown if Post can take down the Purple Knights. At 21-3 on the year, the Eagles have the most wins in the East Region as well as the fewest losses, with Bentley University close behind at 20-4, and have four more regular-season matches on their schedule.
