Benjamin Cunneen has been named the Northeast-10 Goalie of the Week after his pair of performances against Saint Michael's College over the weekend, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Cunneen recorded the second shutout in Post history against the Purple Knights on Saturday afternoon, stopping 22 shots in a 3-0 win for Post, while being 1-0-1 in net this weekend. The senior made 52 saves in 125 minutes, allowing two goals for a .963 save percentage and 0.96 goals-against average. Cunneen only allowed one goal in the five-round shootout that Eagles loss on Friday.
Following Thanksgiving Break, Post University heads to Arcadia University for two games next weekend on the road. This is the first time the two teams will face each other, with the first game coming on Saturday afternoon at 1:40 PM.
