Julia Wysocki and Rowyn Ringor Named to NEWHA Honor Roll for Women's Ice Hockey

WATERBURY, Conn. -- The dynamic duo continued to help light the lamp for Post University Women's Ice Hockey and be honored for it in the process as senior forward Julia Wysocki and freshman forward Rowyn Ringor were both named to the New England Women's Hockey Alliance Honor Roll with Wysocki being honored on the Player of the Week side of it while Ringor was named to it on the Rookie of the Week end of things as announced by the league office late Tuesday afternoon.

Julia Wysocki - Honor Roll (Player of the Week) - Women's Ice Hockey
Wysocki continued her torrid stretch for the Eagles during their lone game this week in which Post was 3-2 winners over Franklin Pierce University at home. Wysocki scored the first two goals of the game to finish the week with two goals and two points, making it four straight games with at least a point and now three consecutive two-goal games. Wysocki is now the program leader in points at 46, surpassing Jenna Abeyta for the most in program history after her performance.

Rowyn Ringor - Honor Roll (Rookie of the Week) - Women's Ice Hockey
Ringor extended her point streak to four straight games with the Eagles in their lone game of the week at home against Franklin Pierce University. In the 3-2 win, Ringor had two more assists, helping set up senior forward Julia Wysocki on her pair of goals en route to tying the single-season program record for most assists at 12 on the year with Kiersten Browning (2022-23). Ringor is also tied with Wysocki for the most points on the team this season with 19 in 23 games.

Post University closes out their six-game homestand next Friday afternoon at 1:00 PM against Assumption University in the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton, Connecticut. The Eagles lost the first two games against the Greyhounds during a home-and-home series back in November by scores of 2-1 at home and 7-3 on the road.
