Aidan Canady found himself on the Northeast-10 Men's Ice Hockey Weekly Awards list as he was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week for Post University Men's Ice Hockey as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon following his three-game stretch of the Eagles.
Canady extended his point streak to four straight games for the Eagles as part of a 2-1-0 week for the Eagles before having it snapped in the weekend finale in a shutout loss against Saint Michael's College on Saturday. Canady tallied three total points, scoring a goal and adding two assists as Post beat Franklin Pierce University on the road, 4-3, as well as the Purple Knights, 3-2, before their 3-0 loss.
Post University kicks off a trio of home games at the Sports Center of Connecticut next Tuesday against Franklin Pierce University at 1:00 PM. The Eagles took down the Raven this past Tuesday on the road, 4-3, after falling down by two goals early on in the matchup as two goals from junior forward
Nathan McDevitt helped Post complete the comeback.
