WATERBURY, Conn. -- Another week, another Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference honor for senior Joe Ensign and Post University Men's Golf. After winning back-to-back CACC Player of the Week honors, Ensign was named to the CACC Honor Roll for Men's Golf this week after placing third in the SNHU Penmen Fall Invitational this week as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.

Ensign climbed the leaderboard again for Post University Men's Golf en route to his third consecutive top three finish in as many events that the Eagles have played in this fall. Ensign sat outside the top 10 after round one in which he finished three-over-par which was four strokes outside of where he would finish by the end of the event. Manufacturing a one-under-par second round, tied for the second-best second round score, Ensign climbed his way into third overall with a two-over-par finish just six strokes outside of first place and one stroke back of second.

Post University has the next week off before the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship which kicks off on October 7th at the White Clay Creek Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. Last season, the Eagles finished second in the CACC Championship, just one stroke behind Goldey-Beacom College for the team title while Bill Koch won the individual title for Post.
