WATERBURY, Conn. -- After getting back into the win column this week and being a late addition to the Singles lineup for Post University Women's Tennis, freshman Romy Leussink was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning. 

In her first action in nearly two weeks, Leussink helped the Eagles notch their first victory of the season against Molloy University over the weekend, 7-0. Teaming up with her sister, freshman Melanie Leussink, the duo won the #2 Doubles over Alica Fartushynka and Isabella Fortaleza, 6-4. After originally not being slated to play in the Singles, Romy Leussink faced Julia Salazar in the #6 Singles, beating her 6-1 and 6-0, to get her second consecutive Singles win.

Post University continues their two-game homestand with a matchup against Dominican (N.Y.) scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Edgewood Bath and Tennis Club at 3:00 PM. After starting the all-time series off with a 5-0 record against the Lady Chargers, the Eagles fell at home, 4-3, in their final matchup of the season last year against them.
