MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Post University Women's Tennis continued its 2026-27 season at home on Tuesday afternoon, taking on Queens College in another conference match. The Eagles would fall to the Knights, 0-7.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Queens College opened the afternoon by taking the first two Doubles matches. In #1 Doubles, Ela Vasic and Vilte Vaitkeviciute defeated senior Ana Vasilis and freshman Juana Espana, 6-0. The Knights then clinched the doubles point at #2 Doubles, as Lilie Bizouerne and Johanne Genestay defeated junior Laura Kotala and junior Savannah Croft, 6-0. Queens College completed the Doubles sweep at #3 Doubles, where Elise Bosmans and Anishka Amalnathan defeated junior Julie Merlin and freshman Bintu Drame, 6-4.
The Knights would go on to sweep the six Singles matches. At #1 Singles, Ela Vasic defeated senior Ana Vasilis, 6-0 and 6-1. Lilie Bizouerne followed at #2 Singles with a 6-0 and 6-0 victory over freshman Juana Espana.
At #3 Singles, Anishka Amalnathan defeated junior Julie Merlin, 6-0 and 6-4, while Elise Bosmans earned a 6-1 and 6-3 win over junior Laura Kotala at #4 Singles.
Kayla Taszymowicz then defeated junior Savannah Croft at #5 Singles, 6-1 and 6-2. Queens College closed out the afternoon at #6 Singles, where Allycia Santa-Cruz defeated freshman Bintu Drame, 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (10-2), giving the Knights the 7-0 victory.
WHO'S NEXT
Post University will remain busy this week, with the Eagles set to compete in two more CACC matches over the next four days. Post will return home on Thursday, Sept. 17, hosting St. Thomas Aquinas College at 4:00 p.m. at the Edgewood Bath & Tennis Club in a conference matchup.
The Eagles will then hit the road on Saturday, Sept. 19, traveling to Washington, D.C., to take on the University of the District of Columbia at 1:30 p.m. in another CACC matchup.
