HOW IT HAPPENED
It was not a dominant start to the day for Ensign though as his first-round score came in at two-over-par which put him in 16th place overall before he turned things around with a five-under-par in the second round to leap up 11 spots to where he is now at three-under-par in a tie for fifth place.

The same can be said about Ensign's teammate in sophomore Flo Schimek who also had a leap on the leaderboard from 16th place in round one after shooting two-over-par to a tie for 11th place after shooting one-under-par in round two to finish the day one-over-par. Senior Amal Jha had nearly identical rounds on day one with a four-over-par and then five-over-par finish to place him tied for 40th place at nine-over-par.

Playing in his first event of the season, sophomore Braden Shea improved his game as well, going from eight-over-par in round one to three-over-par in round two which helped him bump up six spots into a tie for 49th place by the end of the afternoon. Junior Miles Maresch rounded out the five golfers from Post with improving scores as well, going from 13-over-par to nine-over-par for a 22-over-par finish placing him in a tie for 71st place.

As a team, Post currently sits in the middle of the pack heading into Tuesday's final round at 18-over-par, but sits only six strokes back of third-place Adelphi University while Southern New Hampshire leads the field at three-under-par followed by Merrimack College's A Team in second at one-over-par.
