WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the second consecutive year, graduate student Bill Koch was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Year and for the third straight season named to the CACC All-Conference team for Post University Men's Golf. Joining him on the All-Conference team was senior Ethan Phillips who made his second All-Conference appearance after getting the nod this year.

For Koch, the Player of the Year and All-Conference honors should not come as a surprise to anybody as the graduate student won the individual title at the CACC Championships this past fall while helping lead Post to second place in the event. While that was the lone event Koch had won this year, he had three top-three finishes and finished at least in the top 15 of every event he competed so far this season. Koch is now a three-time All-Conference Team honoree and the back-to-back Player of the Year which prior to his run was owned by his teammate in Phillips. 

Phillips also had his fair share of success for the Eagles this entire year, winning one event in the season opener at the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational where he tied for first at five-under-par. He followed up that performance with a second-place finish in the Granite State Opener and in all five fall events was at least in the top 10 including tied for third at the CACC Championships. Phillips last made the All-Conference team in his first season as an Eagle when he also won Rookie and Player of the Year as well as made the PING All-East Region Team during the 2021-22 season.
