Three for Men's Hockey Land All-Conference Honors From the Northeast 10

WATERBURY, Conn. -- The season may not have ended the particular way that Post University Men's Ice Hockey hoped it would last week, but success was rampant throughout the team this year which was evident by the Northeast 10 All-Conference Teams which were released by the league office this afternoon. Sophomore defenseman Ryan Cardow was named to Second Team All-Conference while a pair of rookies in freshman defenseman Cameron Craig and freshman forward Parker Norling were named to the All-Rookie Team.

In a season that saw him step up his game from a year ago as a freshman, Cardow finished the year with three goals and nine assists for a total of 12 points which ranked third-most on the team across 26 games. Those nine assists tied him with graduate forward Jack Engdahl for the most assists on the team and the sophomore was one of only nine players to register a power-play goal this season.

Another fellow defenseman in Cameron Craig highlighted how the Post defense began to develop as the season wore on as Craig appeared in 26 games to produce two goals and five assists for a total of seven points. Craig joined Cardow as one of the nine players as well to score a power-play goal on the year. In all for the season, the Eagles defense created 361 blocked shots with Cardow tallying 30 of those while Craig had another 18 and a penalty kill that allowed just 36 goals on 152 total attempts for a 76.3% penalty kill rate for the season.

Rounding out the trio was Parker Norling who played in all 29 games for Post while netting his first collegiate goal against King's College on January 3rd this year and added on another five assists for a total of six points in his first season as an Eagle.
