WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the second time this season, freshman forward
Jet Devlin was named to the New England Women's Hockey Alliance Honor Roll in the Rookie of the Week category for Post University Women's Ice Hockey as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
Devlin tallied her first collegiate goal over the weekend for the Eagles against Sacred Heart University on Saturday night. With her team trailing 3-1 in the third, Devlin scored the goal from junior defenseman
Angeline Pitter and freshman defenseman
Jodie Rose to cut the Eagles' deficit to one, 3-2. The Pioneers would ultimately answer right back in the affair and go on to win, 4-3, but Devlin's goal also put her at a plus-one for the day and the entire weekend while tallying a point.
Post University is preparing for the NEWHA Tournament Quarterfinals which will be a three-game series against Saint Anselm College and starts on Friday night at 7:00 PM up in Manchester, New Hampshire. Although the third game will only be played if necessary, all three games will take place on the road for the Eagles.Â
