WATERBURY, Conn. -- Coming out on top at this week's Post Eagles Invitational as the individual winner, senior Joe Ensign was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for Post Men's Golf for the third time this season as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. 

After several top three finishes this fall, senior Joe Ensign finally broke through with his first win of the season at the Post Eagles Invitational at the Watertown Golf Club this week. Ensign started his three rounds with a two-under-par finish followed by a one-over-par in round two, but after each of the first two rounds led the field of 69 players. Despite a three-over-par final round, Ensign would win the invitational by a single stroke over Alexander Lundvall of Dominican (N.Y.), making it four top three finishes in six meets this fall.
