JERICHO, N.Y. -- With just a day off between the CACC Championship in Wilmington, Delaware, and the one-day Adelphi Panther Invitational, Post University Men's Golf struggled in their second event of the week, finishing in last place at 77-over-par with a team score of 653 in the two-round invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED
While Hofstra would take the entire event with a 31-over-par performance, 19 strokes better than St. Thomas Aquinas College at 50-over-par, the Eagles despite a last-place finish at 77-over-par were only three strokes behind Dominican (N.Y.) in fifth place at 74-over-par. Jacob Vazquez from the Pride won the individual title with a four-over-par finish while his teammate Eugune King was close behind at five-over-par.
As for Post individually, senior
Joe Ensign tied for 16th at 18-over-par with a seven-over-par first round followed by an 11-over-par second round. Senior
Amal Jha continued his hot second half of the season in a tie for 19th place just one stroke back of Ensign at 19-over-par which was from a 13-over-par first round and six-over-par second round in the invite.
In a tie for 24th, junior
Miles Maresch and sophomore
Flo Schimek each were at 24-over-par with Maresch going 11-over and 13-over in his rounds while Schimek was seven-over and 17-over. Sophomore
Braden Shea rounded out the five golfers for Post with a 29-over-par, recovering from a 20-over-par first round to get a nine-over-par second round and finish 34th overall.
