WATERBURY, Conn. -- For the second time this season, senior goalie
Grace Glasrud landed on the New England Women's Hockey Alliance Honor Roll for Post University Women's Ice Hockey in the Goalie of the Week category as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
Glasrud was near-perfect over the weekend in her one start against Saint Michael's College on the road during a 2-0-0 weekend for the Eagles. Following up sophomore goalie
Hannah Saunders' performance on Friday, Glasrud stopped 36 of the 37 shots she faced, including a perfect 20-save second period with the Eagles ahead by a single goal. After allowing an early goal in the third, Glasrud would make eight saves to keep the Purple Knights in check while junior forward
Hannah Luckman scored the go-ahead goal to help Post earn their second straight win, 2-1. With the win, Glasrud moved to 4-9-0 on the season and now has nine career wins in net, putting her first all-time in program history for most career wins by a goalie.
Post University returns home on Friday to face off against Saint Anselm College at 2:30 PM inside the Sports Center of Connecticut's Upper Rink in Shelton, Connecticut.
