Braden Shea was named Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Phillips started off the season strong for Post University Men's Golf at the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational, tying for the invite's individual title with senior Sean Magarian of Assumption University and junior Alejandro Gomez of Dominican (N.Y.) with a score of 135. After opening up the invite with a 70, placing him in third behind Gomez, Magarian, and teammate
Ian Wivestad, the Bowmanville, Ontario native turned in the second round's best score with a 65 to force a three-way tie with Gomez and Magarian while helping lead the Eagles to their first win at the event since they began competing in it during the 2014-15 season.
Braden Shea - Rookie of the Week
Shea started off his collegiate career with a solid performance at the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational for Post University Men's Golf, starting off the first round of the event with a 73 before manufacturing the second-best score of the second round with a 66 behind only teammate
Ethan Phillips. Shea combined for a 139 overall, the second-best score on the Eagles and tied for third overall individually while helping the Eagles win at the event since they began competing in it during the 2014-15 season.
The Eagles return to play on Monday, September 18th in the first round of the SNHU Granite State Opener set to take place at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, New Hampshire. Round two is currently scheduled for that Tuesday.
