Nick Anagnostiadis, senior defender
Felix Nassen, and junior goalkeeper
Soren Jensen were all named to the United Soccer Coaches' All-East Region First Team as announced by the organization on Thursday.
The accolades are icing on the cake for the trio who raked in awards this fall for the Eagles.
Felix Nassen was named the CACC Defensive Player of the Year, D2CCA All-East Region Third Team, CSC Academic All-District, and CACC All-Conference First Team. The senior appeared in 18 games this season for Post, playing in 1,536 total minutes while earning an assist. Most notably, Nassen anchored a defense that allowed just 0.71 goals per game, allowed only 8.1 shots per game, and had 11 total shutouts on the season.
Soren Jensen's resume this fall was equally as impressive as the junior won CACC Goalkeeper of the Year, was named CACC All-Conference First Team, D2CCA All-East Region Second Team, and CSC Academic All-District before being named United Soccer Coaches' All-East Region First Team. Behind the stout defense of Post, Jensen had 51 saves in net along with nine shutouts and two combined shutouts, bringing his career shutout total to 15 in three season. He finished 13-2-6 in net with a 0.71 goals against average and a .785 save percentage for Post. In total, Jensen appeared in all 21 games for Post with 1,775 minutes played.
Nick Anagnostiadis had another stellar year for Post after scoring six goals and tallying one assist last season. Anagnostiadis started 18 games this year for the Eagles with four goals and three assists to go along with CACC All-Conference First Team honors, CSC Academic All-District Team, and now United Soccer Coaches' All-East Region First Team. The midfielder appeared in all 21 games for Post, playing in 1,634 minutes after only playing in 616 minutes a year ago. Anagnostiadis has played in 42 career games and made 24 starts while scorign 10 goals and adding on four assists.
