WATERBURY, Conn. -- The first of four Eagles have landed in the nest for Head Coach Gretchen Silverman as Rowyn Ringor made her commitment to join the Post University Women's Ice Hockey team next season during NLI Signing Day in November. Ringor comes from Winnipeg in the Manitoba province of Canada standing at 5'4" as a left-handed shooting forward.

Ringor has begun to make her presence known on the ice in recent years on a number of teams which included RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg U18 Prep, Shattuck-St. Mary's Prep 19U (two seasons), and Team Manitoba U18.

The forward also spent some time with the North American Prospects U10 team back in 2016 and 2017 with the Manitoba Hurriances U10 squad before playing three years with the Manitoba North Stars in the U12 to U14 teams. During those five seasons, Ringor would play in 26 games, scoring four goals, adding two assists, totaling six points, and accumulating 16 penatly minutes.

From there, Ringor would join RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg U18 Prep in the CSSHL for two games in which she would record a goal before going on to play for Shattuck-St. Mary's Prep for two seasons. She would record no statistics during the 2021-22 season, but in the 2022-23 campaign, Ringor put up solid numbers across 44 games with nine goals and 13 assists for a total of 22 points while registering just 18 penalty minutes. In the 18-game exhibition campaign for the school, the Winnipeg native had four goals, four assists, eight points, and 12 penalty minutes. After that, she was named to Team Manitoba U18 where she appeared in five games without recording any statistics.

Early on in 2023, Ringor would play for Shattuck-St. Mary's in the 2023 Chipotle USA Hockey National Championships in which she appeared in six games where she scored 10 goals, had five assists, and 15 points. She would score a goal in five straight games which started with a five-goal, two-assist effort in an 8-0 win over Team Wyoming. Shattuck-St Mary's would go on to win the National Championship over Anchorage (AK), 2-0, after having a 36-15-10 record heading into the championships where they went a perfect 6-0-0.

This season, Ringor has joined Balmoral Hall School Prep School and through 13 games so far, she has appeared in all 13,  tallying a goal and six assists while Balmoral is second in the Junior Women's Hockey League with a 9-4-0 record. Talking about Ringor, Coach Silverman said, "Rowyn's speed and play-making ability will add offense, helping boost Post's goal scoring."
