Drew Blodgett was named Northeast-10 (NE10) Goaltender of the Week after the Eagles' performance against SUNY Morrisville on January 6.
In the win, Blodgett stopped 44 shots, including 15 in the third period. It was the most saves he had this season, surpassing the 40 he had against Assumption on December 10. His .957
save percentage against Morrisville was his best of the season.
Blodgett currently has 350 saves on the season, which puts him fourth in the NE10.
Also being recognized for his performance this week was
Brandon Crowther, who was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll.
In the win over Morrisville, Crowther scored the game-winning goal as well as adding an assist in the win. Crowther currently has three goals and four assists on the season.
The Eagles are currently 4-11 on the season and 2-6 in the NE10. They return to action on January 13 and 14 as they head up to Vermont to take on Saint Michael's in a two-game weekend series.
