Waterbury, CT – Post University men's ice hockey player Nick Weber was named Northeast-10 Rookie and Player of the Week after his record-breaking performance during the week of January 16-22.

Weber had four goals and two assists during the weekend series with Southern New Hampshire University on January 20-21.

In the 6-5 overtime win over the Penmen, Weber had five points, including a hat trick and the game-winning goal in overtime. His five points were the most in a game in program history.

In a 4-3 loss to SNHU on Saturday, Weber had a goal.

Currently, Weber is second in the Northeast-10 Conference with 21 points and tied for second in goals with 11.

The Eagles return to action on Tuesday in a non-conference home game against Westfield State at 8 p.m.
