Waterbury, CT - Post University women's hockey players Tymmarie Grom and Hannah Saunders were named to the New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Weekly Honor Roll.

The Eagles went 1-2-1 over the week, but set a program record in a 7-3 win over Saint Michael's on January 11 by scoring the most goals in a game in program history and the most goals in a period with five in the first period.

Grom scored her first two career goals in the win over Saint Michael's with a goal in both the first and third period. She also added an assist on the day.

In a 7-1 loss at LIU on January 13 Grom had an assist on a faceoff that led to a Cassidy Elvidge goal that made it a 2-1 game at the time.

Saunders went 1-1 in net during the week stopping 26 in the win over Saint Michael's and 28 in a January 14 4-0 loss to LIU. She had a .885 GAA during the week.
