Post University baseball player Robert Olah was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-East Region Second Team on Wednesday.
The honor comes on the heels of making the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
It was a historic season for Olah, who finished the season with a .382 average, 11 home runs and a CACC record 76 RBI on the season. He led the conference in hits with 73 and in total bases with 129.
He had 22 multi-hit games, 19 multi-RBI games and seven games where he scored seven or more runs.
In a 19-1 win over Nyack on April 16, Olah went 4-for-4 with six RBI and a run. He also drove in four runs in the first game of that doubleheader with a home run.
In a 23-16 win over American International College on April 18, he was 3-for-5 with four runs and four RBI.
Olah also led the Eagles to the CACC Championship game. During the run – in a game against Jefferson – he went 3-for-5 with four RBI and two runs in an 11-3 win on May 12.
During the CACC Tournament, Olah batted .421 (8-for-19) with eight RBI, four runs and a home run and was named to the All-CACC Tournament team.
Olah is the first Post University player to make the D2CCA All-East Region team since Rosario Missiti in 2019.
