South Hadley, Mass. – The Post University men's golf team sits in second place after the first round of the Yellow Jacket Invitational at the Ledges Golf Club, hosted by American International College (AIC).
Ian Wivestad and Riley Card are both tied for sixth after they both shot 2-over par 74. Wivestad had three birdies on the day and Card had two birdies and an eagle on the day which he got on the par-4 16th hole.
Ethan Phillips and Bill Koch shot a 4-over par 76 and are tied for 14th.
Jace Carlisle is tied for 27th after a 7-over par 79.
Franklin Pierce leads the tournament by a stroke over the Eagles after shooting an 11-over par 79. Michael Sosik and Jake Berkio, both of Franklin Pierce, shot an even par 72 and lead the tournament.
