Waterbury, Conn. - Allyson Wallauer was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week for her performance between April 4-10.
During the Eagles' 4-2 week, Wallauer was 9-for-17 (.529) with three home runs, 14 RBI, four runs and a 1.176 slugging percentage.
In a 5-4 win over Saint Thomas Aquinas on April 4, Wallauer was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and an RBI double for three RBI on the day.
Against Caldwell in a 6-5 win in game one, she was 2-for-4 with four RBI with a two-run homer.
Her biggest game was in a 10-1 win over Jeffereson as she went 2-for-2 with five RBI, including a grand slam and a double.
This season, Wallauer is tied for fourth in the CACC in home runs with six and tied for third in RBI with 29.
Also honored this week was pitcher
Brianna Koref, who was named to the CACC Weekly honor roll. She was 3-0 for the week with three complete games and a 2.95 ERA. This season, Koref is third in ERA with a 2.54 ERA and fifth in wins with eight.
