Post University softball player Caitlin DeAngelis was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week for her performance between, March 14-20.
The Eagles opened up their season down in Florida during The Spring Games series.
DeAngelis batted .526 (10-for-19) with a 1.053 slugging percentage with three home runs, seven RBI and four runs scored. She had 20 total bases during the week.
Against Wayne State in a win, she went 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBI. It was the second straight game she had a home run as she also had one against Slippery Rock earlier that day.
In a game against Lock Haven, she went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run.
The Eagles are currently 5-5 on the season and take on Felician in a doubleheader on March 25 in a 10 a.m. doubleheader.
