Lydimar Soto was named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Third team on Tuesday as announced by the conference.
Soto was an integral part of an Eagles team that reached the CACC Tournament as the fourth seed in the North Division as an outside hitter, playing in all 30 matches and was in the top 20 in the CACC with 268 kills, 37 aces, 293 digs and 309 points. She led the team in Kills and was second in digs.
She had 12 games with double digit kills, including two games with 17. One in a five-set match against Wilmington, and one in a four-set match against Georgian Court. She also had 16 kills and 21 digs in a four-set match against Caldwell.
Soto also had five games this season registering double digits on both kills and digs, including 15 kills and 14 digs in a four-set win over Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) and a 14 kill and 19 dig game in the first meeting between the Eagles and SCSU.
Soto also registered two or more kills in ten games, including five in a 3-1 win over Bridgeport on October 25.
Soto is the 27
th player in program history to make an All-CACC team, and the first since
Madison Hunziker and
Brianna Root both made the All-CACC team in 2018.
