WATERBURY, Conn. -- On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams were announced for Women's Volleyball across all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA. The Eagles had three players named to the list, making a total of 11 in the last three years.
Among those honorees for the fourth-year Head Coach
Tiffany Verni were senior liberoÂ
Alyssa Groves, graduate outside hitterÂ
Kristina Peric, and sophomore outside hitter
Alexa Arnold, all of whom were first-time recipients.Â
In order to qualify, student-athletes must compete in 90% of their institution's games/contests/sets played or must start in at least 66% of the games/contests/sets in addition to achieving a high level of academic success in the classroom.Â
