Post University To Induct Rasuel McKune And Tommy Dorso To Athletic Hall Of Fame

Waterbury, CT - Post University athletics will be honoring two of its all-time greats as it inducts former men's basketball player Rasuel McKune and former golfer, Tommy Dorso into its hall of fame.

The ceremony will be held at the Wyndham Hotel in Southbury, CT on Friday, October 21.
McKune had a decorated career on the hardwood at Post, as he was named a three-time Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Year, while also being named the CACC Rookie of the Year in 1994-95. He was also named as a 1996 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-American.

He is Post University's all-time leader in points with 2,165, rebounds with 1,631, blocks with 221 and steals with 326. At the time of his graduation, he was the NAIA's all-time leader in rebounds. McKune was also recently announced as a 2022 inductee to the CACC Hall of Fame.

After his career at Post – where he graduated in 1998 – McKune played professionally in Europe.

Dorso, a 2006 graduate, was a three-time All-CACC member from 2004-2006. He had three top five finishes at the CACC Championship while finishing in the top five twice at the NCAA East Regionals in 2005 and 2006.

After he graduated from Post, he became the head coach of the men's golf team, where he was named CACC Coach of the Year in 2007.

Dorso was also the four-time champion of the Waterbury Republican-American Championships.
