Belle Vernon, Pa.- Ethan Phillips and Bill Koch both finished 2-over par and tied for 14th, leading the Post University men's golf team to a seventh place finish at the Vulcan Invitational hosted by California University of Pennsylvania at Cedarbrook Golf Course.
As a team, the Eagles shot a 27-over par 883 (296-284-303) for the tournament. Charleston won the tournament with a 4-over par 859, a stroke ahead of West Liberty.
Koch shot a 75, while Phillips had a 76 in the final day of the 54-hole tournament.
Jace Carlisle, playing as an individual shot a 6-over par 78 on the day, finishing tied for 31 first as he was 7-over par for the tournament.
Alex Easthom of West Liberty won the individual title, with a 9-under par 205.
Ian Wivestad finished tied for 43rd with an 11-over par 225 for the tournament. Riley Card finished 13-over par (227) while Felix Hinderthuer was 21-over par (234).
On the women's side Clara Hosman finished tied for ninth after shooting an 8-over par 80 and finishing with a 24-over par 168 for the tournament. After shooting an 85 on Monday, Madison Eurich finished 36th (183), while Emily Racco shot a 96 on the day.
