The Post University men's soccer team was picked to finish first in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Coaches' Preseason Poll on Monday.

The Eagles received 12 total voting points, including five first place votes. The Eagles edged out Wilmington, who was second in voting with 121 points to go along with four first place votes.

Georgian Court and Holy Family tied for third in voting with 98 voting points, with Holy Family receiving one first place vote. Goldey-Beacom was selected fifth with 87 points, while Dominican and Jefferson each received 82 voting points and both receiving a first-place vote.

The three-time CACC tournament champions did not participate in the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic after winning back-to-back conference titles in 2018 and 2019 and making a run to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Division II tournament.

The Eagles will open up their season on Thursday, September 2nd at home against Adelphi. The last time the two teams met, the Eagles upset the No. 1 seed in the East Region in the second round of the NCAA tournament, 1-0 in 2019.
