Former Post University men's ice hockey defender Lucas Smith was signed by EHC Basel.

EHC Basel is part of the MySports League in Switzerland.

Smith, a 2020 graduate of Post University, played four years for the Eagles. He scored 15 goals for the Eagles in his career, and is second all-time in school history in assists with 36. He also is second in games played for the Eagles with 90.
